Xymphony_Programming_-_WebPhone_Digits_And_Users_Tables

Telesis WebPhone homepage for Click to Call service may be easily set with simple programming in the Telesis system. To program WebPhone homepage, click on the WebPhone link in Homepage Ethernet paragraph.

The WebPhone link opens Select to edit page.

There are eight offered selections; Digits 0, Digits 1, Digits 2, Digits 3, Users 4, Users 5, Users 6, and Users 7.

Digits Pages

There are four Digits pages, each with up to 24 entries. Digits pages (0 to 3) can contain any digit sequence to be analyzed by the call control using routing table of SIP visitor profile.

Users Pages

There are four Users pages, each with up to 24 entries. Users pages (page 4-7) can contain only the access codes of Telesis system users (analog, digital or IP). Routing table of SIP visitor profile should be suitable to let these access codes be accessible. If users defined in Users page are not available (busy, unregistered i.e) they are not offered to web clients.

WebPhone Digits and User pages can be accessed from a web browser with the address Your Telesis System URL/home.asp?qr_p. Where p is the page number (0 to 7).

Selecting a Digits page and click on OK button opens a table to be filled out. Assume that page 0 has been selected and then filled out.

In this example, the fictitious company Computer and Telecoms Ltd. owns a Telesis system. In its Telesis system, the system voice message 40 is the mission of the company (862 1 40 plays back the message by default) and the system voice message 41 is the warranty terms (862 1 41 plays back the message by default). User access code 2011 is the Sales person (with analog, digital, or IP telephone) dealing with Computers. User access code 2012 is the Sales person (with analog, digital, or IP telephone) dealing with Telecom products. And so on.

Then, editing Telesis System (at Computers and Telecoms Ltd) URL/home.asp?qr_0 in a web browser address bar will open the following page.

If desired, Computer and Telecoms Ltd. (fictitious company, just an example) may place a link in its commercial web site to Telesis System (at Computers and Telecoms Ltd) URL/home.asp?qr_0. Thus, deploying webphone service on its web site takes a few minutes only.

Similarly, Selecting a Users page and click on OK button opens a table to be filled out. Assume that page 4 has been selected and then filled out.

If Display only ITS phones checkbox is marked in a page then this page offers only ITS821 xSIP hard phones to web clients. Mark the checkbox only if all users defined in this page are ITS821 xSIP hard phones. Otherwise, leave it unmarked.

In this example, again our fictitious company Computer and Telecoms Ltd. prepares a directory for the company workers. The Users page differs from the previous Digits page. The Users page contains only access codes of the workers. Other services like playing back system messages are not included in the Users page. However, Users page has one advantage against Digits page. If some users are not available to answer web calls (they may be busy etc), they are not offered to web clients.

Editing Telesis System (at Computers and Telecoms Ltd) URL/home.asp?qr_4 in a web browser address bar will open the following page if all users are available to answer web calls.

But at a time, if some users are not available, editing Telesis System (at Computers and Telecoms Ltd) URL/home.asp?qr_4 in a web browser address bar will open the page with dropping these unavailable user. Assume that Kayla and Dieago are busy at a time, then the web client will see the page as shown below.

Be aware that while preparing Users and Digits pages, if button is clicked on, the parameters are stored into volatile memories. In order not to loose the programmed parameters in case of a restart, these should to stored into nonvolatile memories. To do this, first operate Save command in Homepage System paragraph.
