Xymphony_Programming_-_Setting_CIS_1_Bit_CAS_Signaling_Table_Parameters

For all applicable signaling variants, interface type in Common properties of relevant E1 should has been selected as E1 CAS 1 bit E&M emulation.

In Homepage, E1 channels with E1 CAS 1 bit E&M emulation are shown as E1CasE&M_NNN.

Click on E1CasE&M_NNN, then Select user pages open. These pages show all available E1 channels with E1 CAS 1 bit E&M emulation (multiple pages, which can be accessed with up and down buttons).

Selecting a channel and pressing EditCmn button opens the Common properties page of the selected channel.

In Common properties page, Signalling table is used for assigning and editing a signaling table for this particular channel.

  • To assign a table, select a table number from the pulldown list of Signalling table and then click on OK button in the same Common properties page.
  • To edit a selected table press Edit button right to Signalling table. Then the Signalling table for E1 CAS 1 bit E&M emulation page opens.

Signaling table should be edited to set proper values for all applicable CIS line signaling variants described in next sections of this document.

Setting the Line Signaling Variant

In Common properties page, Line signalling is used for assigning a line signaling variant for E1 channels with E1 CAS 1 bit E&M emulation .

Among available options in the pulldown list, CL/OCL-1B, TCL-1B, CL/OCL-1VF, TCL-1VF are CIS variants.

Line signalling

Select the desired line signaling variant and then click on OK button in the same Common properties page.

CL-1B Outgoing to Rural

Signal Direction: Network to Telesis

  • Seizure (local) detection
    • minimum seizure pulse: Det. seizure min.
    • maximum seizure pulse: Det. seizure max.
    • Normally pulses between 70-110ms are received
  • Dialing detection
    • maximum make period: Det. off hook max.
    • maximum break period: Det. on hook max.
    • Normally 50/50 ms with 400 ms interdig. time pulses are received
  • Ringing (local)
    • Telesis generates ringing current and tone
  • Clear forward (A-hook on) detection
    • minimum clear pulse period: Det. clear min.
    • maximum clear pulse period: Det. clear max.
    • Normally 300 ms clear forward pulse is received

  • B answer (B-sub hook off) generation
    • answer pulse period: Gen.eos/alt.
    • Normally 70-110ms answer pulse should be generated
  • Clear back (B-hook on) generation
    • clear pulse period: Gen. clear
    • Normally 300ms clear back pulse should be generated
  • Busy generation
    • busy pulse period: Gen. clear
    • Normally 300ms busy pulses should be generated
  • Forced release generation
    • clear pulse period: Gen. clear
    • Normally 300 ms forced release pulse should be generated

OCL-1B Incoming from Rural

Signal Direction: Telesis to Network

    • Normally a pulse between 70-110ms should be generated
