  • A minor modification.

  • Provided that call waiting is active, the calling number (of a new call) is displayed on the LCD when the DTS480 is busy with another call.

  • Digital set fast key operation option added into Basic page in System paragraph. If the checkbox is marked, pressing the speed dial keys of DTS480 digital sets forces the set to handsfree mode and dial the stored keys. If not marked, pressing the key just displays the stored digits. The key should be pressed again to actually dial.

  • Law action Clir (by factory default, 832) implemented. A user may dial Clir law action code before the called number to activate the CLIR function just for this specific call.
  • Law action Reset to defaults (by factory default, 839) implemented. When a user dials Reset to defaults code, all his user specific parameters (like call forwarding, password) returns to the factory defaults.

  • Note that all user defined parameters (passwords, speed dial key definitions, etc.) are erased or they return to default values. Such parameters should be redefined by users.
  • A major Xymphony upgrade. Numerous new features are added.
  • Call hold protocol option added into Basic page in System paragraph. If Single hold or Single hold ping-pong selected, hook flash operation is as follows (Multi hold operates as it was before)
    • The user can have at most one active call and one call on hold.
    • While engaged in an active call, with flashing the hook switch:
      • If the user does not have a call on hold, the active call is held and the user receives special dial tone to setup a new call.
      • If the user has a call on hold: for Single hold the active call is released, for Single hold ping-pong the active call is put on hold and held call becomes the active call.
    • If there is no active call, with flashing the hook switch:
      • If the user does not have a call on hold, current call attempt is aborted and the user receives dial tone to setup a new call.
      • If the user has a call on hold, this held call becomes the active call.
    • While engaged in an active call, with going on hook:
      • If the user does not have a call on hold, the active call is released.
      • If the user has a call on hold, a transfer request is sent to call control in order to connect the active call to the held call.
  • Call release protocol option added into Basic page in System paragraph. When an analog subscriber or Telesis digital telephone user goes on hook and None is selected, all calls on hold are camped on to the user, Local is selected, all local calls on hold are released, trunk calls are camped on to the user, All is selected, all calls on hold are released.
  • In Common properties pages, Call pickup group added. Applicable to local subscribers. Groups of 1-15 are valid. Upon execution of law action Call pickup of pickup group (default 817), members of the same pickup group is scanned to pick up the call.
  • Law action Call pickup of pickup group implemented (default 817).
  • Telesis digital sets preferred melody for trunk calls implemented.
  • Telesis digital sets call intrusion function implemented.
  • Reminder page implemented in Status paragraph. The page lists of most recent reminder service failures. If the service is requested by the user telephone set, failure is not reported in this page. Pressing Remove button clears all failure reports. If the page contains some failure reports, this condition can be used as and alarm condition and alarm procedures can be triggered.
  • Reminder service failure as an alarm source, Alarm Attendant E-mail address, Alarm Attendant, and Alarm msg. added to Alarm page in System paragraph.
    • Reminder service failure alarm source (Reminder): Active if Reminder page in Status paragraph is not empty. When a condition is detected, the Xymphony stores this information. Detected conditions are marked with a * sign. When the situation is resolved, the state is changed automatically.
    • Alarm Attendant E-mail address is the e-mail address where Xymphony sends an e-mail automatically when any alarm condition raises (be aware that e-mail settings are done in Xymphony E-mail page , Ethernet paragraph.
    • Alarm Attendant is the phone number, which is called by Xymphony automatically when any alarm condition raises.
    • Alarm msg. is the system message number, which is automatically played back to called Alarm Attendant.
  • E-mail page is operational now in Ethernet paragraph. If e-mail settings are properly configured, Xymphony can send e-mails on various cases. Before entering the configuration parameters, you should rather test to see that you can send e-mails using this account. For this purpose you can use an e-mail client of a windows PC (e.g. Thunderbird). After configuration, if SMTP server address is resolved from DNS server Status field will display Available and if Administrator E-mail address is defined then the Test button will be visible. Pressing Test button, Xymphony will send a test e-mail to the administrator address. Results of most recent e-mails sent are displayed at the bottom of the page.
    • For Gmail accounts use, and for yandex accounts use as SMTP server and set port as 465. You should also mark secure connection(SSL).
    • Since Hotmail uses a different authentication, do not use Hotmail accounts.
  • New firmware automatically updates the firmware in Telesis digital phones without interruption their service. Be aware that digital set updates may take several minutes.
  • For Telesis digital sets and/or IP video phones:
    • A new option in settings menu of digital set allows selection of a different melody for trunk or tie-line incoming calls
    • Call intrusion option appears on the set's LCD if the called party is busy and the call intrusion level of the set is sufficient for the operation.
  • If you install this firmware into your system, use XTools with version 2.26 or newer.

  • Some improvements in signaling monitor. More data is transferred to XTools Signaling Monitor for some advanced monitoring. If you install this firmware into your system, use XTools with version 2.25 or newer.

Version 130625

  • Secondary FTP server option added to Ethernet paragraph VoiceRecorder page. Auto recorder interface acts as a client and periodically tries to connect to the Primary FTP server to send recordings. If connection fails, Secondary FTP server will be tried.
  • DST (daylight saving time) definitions added to System paragraph Time page. If you shift the time one hour advance in summer DST period, then mark Daylight saving time checkbox. Dst settings definitions may be used to switch to DST and back automatically. If the system is running when one of the predefined time settings of the leftmost column arrives, system time is automatically set to the definition of the corresponding entry on the rightmost column.

Version 130609

  • Alarm definitions are available for all Telesis systems (Alarm link in System paragraph). Previously, these were available only for Telesis X1 system.
  • In Alarm page, conditions, which will trigger the selected alarm, is programmed. Up to 32 conditions may be assigned to each alarm such that if any condition is detected by the system, the alarm is rised. Systems with alarm panel, leds on the panel will track alarm statuses. If Ethernet/Basic/NMS IP address is defined, alarm status changes will be sent to the NMS as SNMP Trap messages.
  • New alarms definitions added; User alarm source (UsrSource 0-7). With these, status modification is performed via routing law action User alarm source. When a condition is detected, the Xymphony stores this information. Detected conditions are marked with a * sign. When the situation is resolved, the state is changed automatically.
  • Some changes in German language.

  • A new selection Outside for Media proxy type in Voip media settings page. When it is selected, and if two IP terminals (registered to Xymphony) are in two different subnets, then media between them are through media proxy (i.e., needs free VoIP-TDM gateway channels)

  • Discard contact in REGISTER field is added to sip user common properties. If Discard contact in REGISTER checkbox is marked, IP address and port that sent the register request is used in place of the similar fields of the declared contact in the message.
  • Initial route member offset field is added to routing criteria table entries. Initial route member offset is applicable only if:
    • the selected Law Action is a route i.e. (R0-R127) and,
    • Og. routed call chg.pls. quota is selected No and,
    • this route is marked as Always try to seize the first port.
  • If the above conditions are fulfilled and a nonzero offset value is entered to this box, the system will start testing the availability of this route member first (i.e if the offset value is 2, 0th and 1st route members will be tested last).
