X1_Distributing_48VDC_Among_The_Racks_Of_Auxiliary_Cabinet

  • Sufficiently long, red, multi-conductor wires with 4mm˛ conducting area are used to carry GND to the racks within the same auxiliary cabinet. For each interface rack (2.x1g.urn0xpm), one such wire is necessary. Each wire is connected to a red GND connector on the 1.x1g.gecis1u.
  • Sufficiently long, blue, multi-conductor wires with 4mm˛ conducting area are used to carry -48VDC to the racks within the same cabinet. For each interface rack (2.x1g.urn0xpm) , one such wire is necessary. Each wire is connected to a blue -48V connector on the 1.x1g.gecis1u
  • All red and blue wires are bundled and fixed to the auxiliary cabinet.
  • For each interface rack (2.x1g.urn0xpm), a red wire from the bundle is connected to the top power connector on the backplane board of the rack.
  • For each interface rack (2.x1g.urn0xpm), a blue wire from the bundle is connected to the bottom power connector on the backplane board of the rack.
